Competition tanning places repeated stress on the skin through dehydration, heat exposure, and multiple coating cycles. Maximus Extreme is formulated to help maintain skin flexibility and surface comfort during this process. Supporting hydration and barrier function allows color to sit evenly, develop consistently, and layer without patching or breakdown, critical for multi-day competition prep and final-stage refinement.

Preparation

Exfoliate skin thoroughly prior to application. Apply a light moisturizer to dry areas such as ankles, knees, elbows, hands, and feet. Wear gloves during application.

Day 1

Apply 2–3 even coats, allowing each coat to dry fully before the next. Sleep in the solution overnight, wearing loose, dark clothing.

Day 2

Rinse bronzer lightly with lukewarm water for 30–40 seconds. Do not use soap. Once skin is fully dry, apply 2–3 additional coats to build depth. Sleep overnight in loose clothing.

Day 3 – Competition Day

Do not rinse. To deepen color or sharpen muscle outlines, apply Maximus Extreme Mousse using a mitt, kabuki brush, or foam brush. Finish with Maximus Posing Glaze for a controlled sheen.

Adjust the number of coats based on physique, lighting, and competition category.

No. Maximus Extreme is formulated specifically for competition and stage use.

Does darker DHA automatically mean a better stage tan?

No. Proper layering, skin condition, lighting, and physique determine final results more than DHA percentage alone.

Will this transfer onto clothing or sheets?

Once dry, the transfer is minimal. Proper dry time between coats is essential.

Can this be used on all skin tones?

Yes. Depth is customizable through layering and application technique.
