Before Spraying

• Skin should be clean, properly exfoliated, and free of lotion, oils, deodorant, and makeup.
• Use AYU Smooth Glow Pre-Tan Prep Spray to help reduce surface residue, minimize beading, and support more even application.

Solution Prep

• Shake the bottle gently before use.
• Pour approximately 50 mL (1.5–2 fl oz) into the spray gun cup.
• If the solution has been used as is, unused product may be returned to the original container.
• If the solution has been mixed, diluted, or combined with any other product, store any remaining solution separately in a clearly labeled container.

Application

• Spray with even, controlled passes using your normal professional technique.
• Use overlapping strokes and maintain a consistent distance from the skin to help prevent buildup.
• Use the bronzer as your visual guide for coverage and balance.
• Apply two light, even coats. The first coat establishes overall coverage, and the second coat helps confirm that the skin surface is fully and evenly covered, with no missed areas.
• Allow the tan to dry fully for about 8–10 minutes before dressing.

After Application

• Follow with AYU Smooth Glow Moisture Seal and AYU Finishing Powder to help reduce transfer and improve client comfort.
• Instruct the client to avoid water, sweat, and friction during the development period.
• Rinse after approximately 8 hours, or as directed by the artist.
• Follow with proper post-tan hydration to help support a longer-lasting, more even fade.

What skin tones is Tanvee Advanced Medium best suited for?

It is best suited for Fitzpatrick I–III and for clients who want a natural to medium color depth. On deeper skin tones, it can still be a beautiful option for a soft glow or maintenance service.

Will 10% DHA be dark enough?

For many clients, yes. Especially on fair to medium skin, 10% DHA often gives the most balanced and wearable result. Darker is not always better. Evenness and fade matter just as much.

Is this a good option for first-time spray tan clients?
