Before Spraying

• Skin must be exfoliated, clean, and free of oils, lotions, deodorant, or makeup
• Use AYU Smooth Glow Pre-Tan Prep Spray for optimal results

Solution Prep

• Shake gently before use
• Pour approximately 50 mL (1.5–2 fl oz) into the spray gun cup
• Use HVLP or airbrush system at medium-high airflow
• Do not pour unused solution back into the original container

Spray Technique

Apply two light, even coats using overlapping strokes

Maintain a consistent distance to avoid pooling or streaking

Allow 8–10 minutes to dry before dressing

What skin types is Cocoanilla® Mocha best for?

Mocha is best suited for Fitzpatrick Skin Types III–IV, and for Type II clients who already have some natural color or base tan.

Can it be used in any spray tan system?

Yes. The medium viscosity makes it suitable for all HVLP and airbrush systems, delivering smooth, even spray without clogging or dripping.

A: Yes. If you prefer to reduce the visible bronzer depth in Cocoanilla® Latte, Mocha, or Espresso, you may blend the solution with AYU Plus Clear of the same DHA percentage. This allows you to soften the cosmetic bronzer without altering the final developed color.

These formulas are compatible by design. Always match DHA percentages, test your ratios before use, and store any blended solution in a clearly labeled, separate container.

We do not recommend mixing with non-AYU solutions, as formulation differences can affect performance, development behavior, and final results.
