Choose Your Starting Depth

Medium

A lighter starting point for a natural-looking glow. Choose Medium if you are new to self-tanning, prefer softer color or want to build your tan gradually.

Dark

A richer starting point for deeper bronze color. Choose Dark when you want to reach a deeper result with fewer applications.

Both Shades Are Buildable

Medium and Dark are starting depths, not fixed final colors.

Your result depends on the shade selected, how much product you apply, the number of applications, development time and how your skin responds to DHA.

Start with an even application, allow the color to develop and build more when you want it.

How the Color Works

The wine-cocoa guide bronzer gives your skin immediate color and helps show where the mist has been applied. This temporary color rinses away during your first shower.

DHA creates the longer-lasting self-tan through a reaction in the outermost layer of the skin. The guide bronzer does not determine or neutralize your final DHA color.

Simply put: the bronzer guides your application now, while your self-tan develops separately.

Prepare Your Skin

Exfoliate before tanning, paying extra attention to dry or textured areas.

Immediately before application, smooth a very light layer of moisturizer over the elbows, knees, ankles, hands and feet. Allow it to settle before applying the mist. Dry areas can hold more self-tanner and develop darker than the surrounding skin. A light layer of moisturizer helps create a smoother, more even result.

Apply and Blend

1. Shake well before use.
   
2. Work on one section of the body at a time.
   
3. Mist the product onto the skin or Smooth Glow tanning mitt.
   
4. Blend evenly using long, overlapping motions.
   
5. Apply less product to the elbows, knees, ankles, hands and feet.
6. Use the blending brush to soften edges and remove excess product around the wrists, knuckles, knees, ankles and feet.
   
7. Allow the mist to dry completely before dressing.
