Tan Development Timing Guide if using as Rapid rinse or Standard 8 hour
Rinse Time | Recommended For | Expected Result |
---|---|---|
1 Hour | Very fair or first-time tanners | Light, natural glow |
2–3 Hours | Skin Types I–II | Medium to dark tan |
3–4 Hours | Skin Types II–III | Deep golden tan |
4–5 Hours | Skin Types III–IV or clients desiring bold depth | Deep bronze tan |
5–6 Hours | Skin Types IV+ or experienced tan wearers | Ultra-dark finish |
8 Hours | All skin types seeking full development | Maximum espresso-dark depth |
Notes:
A 6+ hour rinse is best for Skin Types III+ or Type II clients who already have a bit of color, from being outdoors or having a vacation tan.
Always assess the skin's condition (hydrated, mature, dry, etc.) in addition to skin type to optimize results.
Individuals with lighter skin types should rinse earlier to prevent overdevelopment. Darker skin types can wear longer for deeper results.
