Application Instructions:

Choose the Right Equipment:

• Celerity Rapid Spray tan solution is designed for use with HVLP and airbrush systems.
• Set your machine to medium or high speed for consistent application.

Prepare the Solution:

• Pour 50ml (1.5–2 fluid ounces) of Celerity Rapid Spray Tan Solution into the spray gun cup. Adjust the amount for larger spray guns as needed. Pour any unused solution into the bottle after the session to avoid waste. Ensure you have not mixed other products or drops in your solution cup. If that is the case, keep that solution in another container with a proper label.

Set the Spray Gun for Precision:

• Adjust the spray gun to produce a light, even mist.
• Avoid over-spraying to prevent over-saturation or streaks.

Application Technique:

• Spray two light, even coats onto the client's Skin, maintaining a consistent distance throughout.
• Use a sweeping motion, overlapping slightly to ensure full coverage.
• Focus on controlled misting to avoid pooling or excessive product buildup.

Drying and Development:

• Allow the Skin to dry for 8–10 minutes before the client dresses.

Development Options: Recommended Rinse Time:

• 2 Hours: Light tan (~6-8% DHA strength) (Skin Type I, II)
• 3 Hours: Medium tan (~8-10% DHA strength) (Skin Types I, II, III)
• 4+ Hours: Dark tan (~10-12% DHA strength) (Skin Types III, IV)
• Always consider the client's skin type and condition when recommending rinse times.

First Shower: The initial rinse should be with warm water or a tan-safe body wash. Avoid scrubbing or using harsh products to preserve the developing tan.

Note: Leaving the solution on the Skin for more than 5 hours may result in a brassy undertone in the final tan.

Post-Tan Tip: Inform clients that the tan will continue to develop for 12–24 hours after rinsing. Once rinsed, the tan is smudge-resistant and sweat-resistant, allowing clients to resume normal activities confidently.

To ensure safety during the spray tan session, the FDA recommends:

• Protecting the eyes, nose, lips, and mucous membranes.
• Wearing gloves, masks, and eye protection for clients and spray tan artists.
• Conducting the session in a well-lit, ventilated area, ideally with extraction fans to maintain air quality.
