Moisture Seal is an emulsion that brings together water-based hydrators, including aloe, glycerin, and sodium hyaluronate, with botanical oils and film-forming ingredients. Together, they add hydration and leave a smooth, breathable film on the skin.

After the tanning solution is dry to the touch, that film helps reduce friction so the temporary guide bronzer can settle with less rubbing. A synergistic blend helps neutralize DHA odor without relying on fragrance to mask it.

Moisture Seal and finishing powder have different roles. Moisture Seal adds hydration and comfort; finishing powder completes the service with a drier, smoother feel.

Designed for HVLP application to ensure even, controlled coverage.

• Wait 2–3 minutes after tanning until skin is dry to the touch
• Mist approximately 0.5 oz (15 mL) from the HVLP spray gun
• Cover the full body using light, overlapping passes
• Allow 30 seconds to settle
• Follow immediately with Smooth Glow Finishing Powder

Protocol:Prep → Tan → Seal → FinishMist → Seal → Powder → Done
Note: An HVLP gun is strongly recommended. Spray bottles
can produce uneven droplets and bronzer displacement.

Does Moisture Seal interfere with DHA development?
Moisture Seal is applied after the tanning solution has dried to the touch. It adds hydration and comfort while DHA development continues.

When should I apply it?
Apply after the tan is dry to the touch, before finishing powder.

How much should I use per client?
Approximately 0.5 oz (15 mL) for full-body application.

Can I apply it with a spray bottle?
For professional application, an HVLP spray gun provides a fine, controlled mist. Larger or uneven droplets from a spray bottle may disturb the guide bronzer.

Does it help with DHA odor?
Yes. Moisture Seal contains Ordanon®, an odor-neutralizing ingredient that helps neutralize DHA odor during development.

Why use Moisture Seal if I’m already applying finishing powder?
They serve different purposes. Moisture Seal supports hydration and comfort and helps create a smooth-feeling surface. Finishing powder completes the service with a drier, smoother finish.

How is Moisture Seal different from a straight oil spray?
Moisture Seal is a complete emulsion, with water-based hydrators, oils, and other ingredients formulated to work together. It is not simply oil sprayed over the guide bronzer. The formula helps reduce friction as the bronzer settles.

Can I use Moisture Seal before spray tanning a client with very dry or mature skin?
Yes. Applying Moisture Seal before the tanning solution adds hydration to the skin’s surface and can help support a more even-looking result. Use a light application and allow it to dry fully before spray tanning.
