Do I need to wipe the product off?
Yes. If sweat, oils, deodorant, or makeup are present, wiping physically removes residue. If the skin is already clean and the goal is only pH balance, drying without wiping is acceptable—but wiping ensures consistency.
How does it remove residue without surfactants?
Witch Hazel and floral water help dissolve sweat and deodorant, while wiping removes oils and buildup. It cleans by lifting + wiping, not emulsifying.
How long should I wait before tanning?
Once the skin is dry to the touch, typically 30–60 seconds.
What equipment can I use?
HVLP is ideal. Continuous spray bottles are suitable for partial or retail use. Handheld bottles work for spot prep, but always wipe before tanning.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, soap-free, glycolic-free, and formulated with soothing aloe, Witch Hazel (without harsh alcohol), proteins, and Panthenol.
What about gym clients or heavy sweating?
Yes. Mist generously, wipe thoroughly, allow to dry, and proceed.
Does it change internal pH?
No. It only balances the skin’s surface, supporting optimal DHA reaction.
Why use Pre-Tan Prep instead of wipes or soap?
Wipes may leave residue. Soap may disrupt pH. Pre-Tan Prep lifts and removes residue while keeping the surface pH in an ideal range.
Do I need prep spray before every spray tan?
While some clients may arrive freshly showered, most daily activities leave behind deodorant, sweat, or product residue. Using a professional prep spray helps ensure consistent application and development.
