Make sure your client's skin is clean, dry, and freshly exfoliated. Skin should be free of oils, lotion, makeup, deodorant, and residue for optimal DHA reaction.

Application Instructions

Choose the Right Equipment:

Cocoanilla Latte is formulated for HVLP and airbrush systems.

Set your machine to medium or high airflow to ensure a smooth, even spray.

Prepare the Solution:

  • Measure approx—50ml (1.5–2 fl oz) per full-body application.
  • Pour only the needed amount into the spray cup.
  • Do not mix additives or drops directly into the bottle. If using, store any blended formula separately and label it clearly.
  • Return any unused solution (from clean, uncontaminated cups) back to the original bottle to minimize waste.

Adjust the Spray Gun:

  • Use a fine mist setting for soft, even coverage.
  • Avoid heavy spray to prevent oversaturation, streaking, or patchiness.

Apply with Precision:

  • Use two light, even coats, maintaining a consistent distance and motion.
  • Overlap passes slightly to ensure complete coverage.
  • Pay extra attention to hands, feet, and dry areas—mist lightly or blend with a mitt if needed.

Allow Proper Drying:

  • Let the tan air-dry for 8–10 minutes before the client dresses.
  • Use a drying setting or fan to accelerate the process if needed.

Post-Application & Development

  • Instruct the client to wear loose, dark clothing and avoid sweating, water exposure, or tight garments for 8 hours.
  • During this time, the tan will fully develop.
  • After 8 hours, rinse with lukewarm water only—no soap, no exfoliation during the first rinse.
  • Gently pat your skin dry with a towel.

  • Use protective gear (such as nose filters, eyewear, undergarments, or lip balm) for clients.
  • Technicians should wear gloves and masks and work in a well-ventilated space with extraction fans or filtration units.
