How the Bronzer May Appear on Different Skin Tones

• Rosy / Pink: May visually soften the appearance of surface redness

The bronzer is a temporary cosmetic application guide and rinses away. Final tan depth develops from the DHA reaction with the skin.

Latte is not a rapid or customizable rinse formula.Do not rinse early.Final results vary based on skin condition, hydration level, and aftercare. Artists should assess overall skin condition in addition to Fitzpatrick skin type.

Cocoanilla® Advanced Latte is formulated to support the skin environment in which DHA develops. Hydration, surface condition, and barrier balance can influence how evenly a sunless tan develops and fades.

The formula combines 9.5% DHA with erythrulose and AYU’s Micro-Emulsion Delivery System for even surface distribution, along with skin care ingredients selected for hydration, comfort, and conditioning during development.

• Hydration support: Aloe, glycerin, and hyaluronic acid

Application

• Shake gently before use
• Pour approximately 50 mL (1.5 to 2 fl oz) into the spray gun cup
• Apply using smooth, overlapping strokes for even coverage
• Two light coats are recommended. The first establishes coverage and the second confirms even application
• Medium viscosity is suitable for professional HVLP and airbrush systems
• Allow approximately 8 to 10 minutes to dry before dressing

Development

• Allow to develop for 8 hours
• A water-only first rinse is recommended
• Developed color continues to mature for up to 24 hours after application

Solution Handling

• Unused, unmixed solution may be returned to the original bottle
• If Latte is blended with another AYU solution, store the blend separately in a clean, clearly labeled container
• Do not return mixed solution to the original bottle
• Mix AYU solutions with AYU solutions only

Is Cocoanilla® Advanced Latte a rapid solution?
No. Latte is a classic 8-hour development formula. Within the Cocoanilla Collection, Espresso offers dual-function 8-hour or rapid flexibility, while Double Shot Rapid is designed specifically as a rapid system.

How is Latte different from Mocha and Espresso?
Latte contains 9.5% DHA and offers the most natural developed depth in the Cocoanilla Collection. Mocha provides richer 12% DHA depth, while Espresso provides the deepest 14% DHA result with dual-function 8-hour or rapid flexibility.

Is Cocoanilla Latte only for lighter skin tones?
No. Latte describes the formula’s DHA level and expected developed depth, not who can use it. Artists should consider the client’s skin condition, tanning history, and desired result when selecting a formula.

Does the Cocoanilla bronzer determine the final tan color?
No. The espresso cocoa-brown bronzer provides visual guidance during application and gives the client immediate bronzed color while the tan develops. The bronzer rinses away. Final tan depth develops from the DHA reaction within the outermost layer of the skin.

Can I lighten the Cocoanilla bronzer or customize the DHA level?
Yes. Cocoanilla Latte can be blended with AYU Plus Clear to reduce the cosmetic bronzer concentration while allowing the artist to customize the final DHA percentage.

For a 50/50 blend, average the DHA percentages of the two solutions:

• Latte 9.5% + AYU Plus Clear 8% = 8.75% DHA
• Latte 9.5% + AYU Plus Clear 10% = 9.75% DHA
• Latte 9.5% + AYU Plus Clear 12% = 10.75% DHA

This gives the artist control over both the visible bronzer depth during application and the DHA percentage of the finished blend.

Mix AYU solutions with AYU solutions only. Store custom blends separately in a clearly labeled container and do not return mixed solution to the original bottle.
